Sarkar Movie Review: Tamil Star Hero Vijay’s Sarkar hit the theatres today in Grand Manner on the occasion of Diwali festival. Hero Vijay has a huge fan base in Tamil and across the world and this will help the movie big time. The movie coming in almost 3400 theatres from all over the world. Sarkar is the third venture of a successful combo of AR Murugadoss and Vijay. The previous of this combo was Thuppakki and Kaththi. However, Vijay’s craze is minimal in the Telugu States, and the buzz for the Telugu version is decent let’s see the SARKAR Review.
Story: Sundar (Vijay) is the super successful CEO of a leading American base company GL Group, Who known targets other companies and acquire them. When Sundar comes to India to cast his vote in the election but turns out it has already been cast illegally by an unknown person. That brings a change in sunders attitude decides to fight for what was rightfully his. Sundar goes to court and files a petition to recast his vote and he inspires lakhs of people who lost their voting rights, Then Court voids the elections and Re-elections are scheduled, Soon after He gets attacked by politicians then Sunder to contest in the election against the opposition Party Rest of the story how Sundar’s revolution becomes successful watch on silver screen.
Performance: The Tamil star Hero Vijay performed well, He his completely steals the show he carries the entire film on his shoulders with his energetic performance, His dialogue delivery, Body Language, Action sequences and Emotional scenes will surely impress the audience. Varalakshmi Sharathkumar looks fantastic in lady politician role and she gets many powerful moments opposite Vijay. Keerthy Suresh looks gorgeous in her limited role, she is impressive with her cute looks. Pala Karuppiah and Radha Ravi are good in manipulative politician role. Comedian Yogi Babu succeeds in generating some good laughs all others are performed accordingly in their given roles.
Technical Aspects: The movie music composed by AR Rahman, The audio album is just okay. He did a fantastic work in composing background score. Cinematography by Girish Gangadharan is good as captures locations quite well. Production values by Sun Pictures are Grand for this political entertainer. Editing by Srikar Prasad is decent and Stunts choreographed by Ram – Lakshman duo has come out well. The movie director Murugadoss has chosen interesting social aspirations plot and he has established this point quite well in the beginning. The movie first half quite well as the way sunder fights for his vote and the manner in which he takes on the opposition has been showcased in an interesting manner soon after in second half things become routine and Murugadoss showcases the set-up which is quite common in every political backdrop movie and lacks entertainment and Dragged narration feels dull in the second half.
- Vijay’s performance
- Action episodes
- First Half
- Second Half
- Predictable Narration
Verdict: Overall, Sarkar is a complete political drama, it is filled with all commercial elements. The story seems quite unique and the First half has very high moments and the second half is quite predictable even though Sarkar would greatly impress Vijay fans the movie may work for Vijay’s fans in Tamil Nadu, but for Telugu audiences watch with limited expectations to enjoy the film.
