Oh Baby Review: Samantha Akkineni starrer Oh Baby has hit the screens today in a grand manner. The movie has raised the curiosity of the audience with entertaining promos.  Let’s see the review of the film here.
Story: Savitri (Lakshmi) aka Baby is a widowed 70 years old woman with family and grandchildren. Savitri’s daughter-in-law will have issues with her due to her Baby’s nagging, over affection and her domination, a depressed Lakshmi plans to move away from family, and then suddenly some great miraculous will happen in her life and Baby turns physically young and comes back as Swathi (Samantha) who is an energetic girl.  What happens next and how Savitri fulfill her wish and how Savitri will come to her family forms the story.
Performances: Samantha Akkineni is undoubtedly the show stealer for this movie. She has delivered her career-best performance in this movie. From the start to the end, she just nails the character with her stupendous performance. Naga Shaurya is good in the supporting role. Senior actress Lakshmi is fantastic in her crucial role. Rajendra Prasad as Samantha’s best friend comes up with an endearing performance.  Rao Ramesh performed well. The rest of the cast Urvashi, Pragathi, and others performed accordingly in their given roles.

Analysis: The movie director Nandini Reddy chosen the film’s main plotline from Koren film, Miss Granny, but she come up with our Telugu nativity touch with a good dose of entertainment and emotions, She is succeeded in narrating the story in a beautiful way. The movie dialogues are written well.  The movie has some genuine laughs and there are plenty of emotional scenes which majorly work and connect to all type of audience.
The movie songs composed by Mickey J Meyer are just okay but he is impressed with the background score. The movie cinematography by Richard Prasad has done fantastic work. The editing of the film could have been better. The movie Dialogues by Lakshmi Bhupala are very touching. The movie production values are rich.

Verdict: All in all the movie Oh Baby is a fun film with an emotional tale of an old lady. The movie first half is highly engaging. The interval bang is also good but the movie soon becomes into a musical story the music band concept in the second half, it did not work due to lackluster songs, but towards the end, the movie goes on very high emotional and heart-warming it makes a good watch. Overall Oh baby is a perfect family entertainer and must watch for this weekend.
