The movie released First looks, Songs and promos have already generated good buzz around the film. The team of HGPK is very confident that the movie will win the heart of audiences. Let’s see whether it impresses us or not.
Story: Sanju (Ram Pothineni), an easy going jobless guy from Kakinada who comes to Hyderabad for his job purpose. As per his family wish, Sanju stays in family friend Viswanath’s (Prakash Raj) house. Sanju gets attracted towards his colleague Reethu (Pranitha) but realizes later that he`s actually in love with Viswanath’s daughter Anu (Anupama Parameswaran) and tries to impress her. The movie story takes turn when Vishwanath promises his daughter to marry an NRI. Sanju and Vishwanath become good friends and 30 days friendly challenge between them lock. Rest of the story is about how Ram wins Prakash and Anupama’s Will Sanju succeed in winning Anu’s love? What happens rest has been narrated in Hello Guru Prema Kosame.
Performances: Ram is as always energetic and pulled is Sanju role very easily. He looks handsome and delivered his best performance. He played a romantic, fun-loving guy role yet again but gave his best for the role. Anupama Parameswaran looks cute and she looked absolutely stunning in the film and delivered a beautiful performance in Anu role. Senior actor Prakash Raj steals the show with his mark comic performance, He not only makes the viewers laugh in some scenes but also makes them emotional. Pranitha is adequate in her limited role. The rest of other casts Posani Krishna Murali, Praveen, Jaya Prakash, Mahesh, Sithara are delivered good performance in their given roles.
Technical Aspects: The music of Devi Sri Prasad is decent in his trademark style and the background score is sync throughout the movie. The cinematography by Vijay K. Chakravarty is good and he captured the visuals in a great manner. The production values of Sri Venkateswara Creations are grand and lavish. The movie director Trinadha Rao Nakkina has done a good job. Who earlier made successful films like Cinema Chupista Mava, Nenu Local fame Now he once again come with typical Mama-Alludu format his selected quote routine plot but his narrated the movie engaging with good entertainment, even though after the entertaining first half, the second half is clichéd and predictable.
- Lead cast Performance
- First Half
- Predictable story
- Dragged second half
Verdict: HGPK is a simple comedy entertainer. The movie has adequate comedy throughout. Though the Predictable storyline the director cleverly managed to narrate the proceedings in an entertaining manner and it makes must watch the film for this Dussehra festival weekend.
