Chitralahari Review: Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej is going through a rough phase with series of six disasters and he has pinned all his hopes on this movie Chitralahari, which has hit the theaters today in a grand manner. Let’s see how it works.

Story:  Vijay Krishna (Sai Dharam Tej) is a talented youngster and a mechanical engineer who never tasted success in his life. He is trying hard to find money for his project—Auto Alert Accident Device is the name, Meanwhile, He falls in love with Lahari (Kalyani Priyadarshani) but everything goes well up to enters Swetchha (Niveda Pethuraj) who is a friend to Lahari. In the meantime, Vijay loses his love and hope in life. How Vijay finds success and will he win his love back? Forms the rest of the story of the film.
Performances: Sai Dharam Tej has done a fantastic job in Vijay role. His looks, body language, and Dialogue delivery completely nailed the role. Kalyani Priyadarshan is looking lovely and beautiful in the film. Nivetha Pethuraj is impressive as Swecha.  Posani Krishnamurali role is interesting and he delivers perfectly. Sunil is got meaty role his comedy works in a few parts. Noted comedians Vennela Kishore and Hyper Aadhi generate some good laughs. Rest of the casts performed accordingly in their given roles.
Technical Aspects: Devi Sri Prasad’s music is good and catchy and the background score is fantastic. DOP Karthik Ghattamaneni is done a nice work. Mythri Movie Makers production values are grand. The movie director Kishore Tirumala has arranged an interesting content for the film and without a doubt, the movie has a strong story. But his failure to execute it right manner, especially in second half completely predictable. There is no emotional connection to the characters of the film and the movie dialogues are superbly written and will connect to the youth.

Verdict: Overall Chitralahari is a passable drama and an honest attempt. The movie First half is definitely entertaining filled with fun and romance but the second half loses the track. Sai Dharam Tej, who is going through a rough phase has chosen the very good film and the audience will see a new Sai Dharam Tej in the film. Despite the clichés, the movie is a decent one time watchable for this weekend.
